Quester graduated with an MFA in Film Production from the prestigious New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts.
While in NYU, his second-year short film, “King of Guangzhou”, was screened at various national and international film festivals. It garnered several awards, including Best Student Film at African International Film Festival in Nigeria and Harlem Spotlight Award at Harlem International Film Festival. His documentary film “Never Keep Silent”—about African asylum seekers struggling to gain status in Israel—was a finalist for the 2016 Richard Vague Production Fund and was awarded the Dean’s Award at Tisch School of the Arts and the Alan Landsburg Documentary Production Award.
Before attending NYU, Quester earned his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Pennsylvania State University. His production company, Walk or Sink Media LLC, has produced corporate videos for WISE SC, 623ent, Holistic Life Foundation, and Paterson Public Schools.
